Privacy Policy for Bloomie

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Bloomie ("the app", "we", "us") is a habit and goal tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. Your privacy is important to us, and Bloomie is designed to keep your data private and entirely on your own device.

Summary

All the content you create in Bloomie stays on your device — the app has no user accounts and no servers of our own, and we do not sell your data. The one exception is advertising: the free version of Bloomie shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects certain device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure those ads. Purchasing Bloomie Premium removes all ads. See the "Advertising" section below for details.

Information We Store on Your Device

All data you enter is stored locally on your device using an on-device database and is never sent to us or any third party. This includes:

Because this data lives only on your device, it is removed when you delete the app or clear its data. We have no access to it and cannot recover it for you.

Permissions the App Uses

Sharing Content

Bloomie lets you share images or content you create using your device's standard share feature. When you choose to share, you select the destination app (for example, a messaging or social app). That action is initiated entirely by you, and the receiving app's own privacy policy then applies. Bloomie does not transmit this content on its own.

Advertising

The free version of Bloomie displays ads using Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its ad partners may collect and process certain information, including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information. This data is processed by Google as a third party under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and, for advertising specifically, Google's advertising policies.

Consent: where required by law (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), Bloomie presents a consent request before ads are loaded, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can decline or, where offered, choose non-personalized ads. Ads are not requested until this consent step has completed.

Removing ads: purchasing Bloomie Premium (a one-time in-app purchase) removes all advertising, after which no advertising identifiers are collected by the app.

Data Collection and Other Third Parties

Apart from the AdMob advertising described above, Bloomie contains no analytics SDKs and no other third-party trackers, and does not use cookies. We do not maintain servers that receive your habit, goal, or bucket list data — that content never leaves your device.

Children's Privacy

Bloomie is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app shows ads to free users, it is not designed or intended for use by children, and the advertising described above should not be presented to them.

Purchases

If Bloomie offers an in-app purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by the Google Play billing system. Bloomie does not receive or store your payment details. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for information about how payment data is processed.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
